The automated fire sprinkler control works as a sentinel, protecting homes from the threat of bushfire all year
round. Manufactured in Australia, ARID is responsible for the design, development and fabrication of all aspects
of the unit, including industrial design, engineering, electronics, software and direction of graphic design.

Street & Park Furniture Boulevard range  Street and park furniture
This range of furniture was awarded the Design Institute of Australia highest Merit Award. The furniture
is designed to be used in public spaces, it is constructed from cast metal, glass reinforced epoxy,
Australian timbers and can be finished polished or powder coated.

Axeze keyless entry  Electronic door lock
Easily fitted to most domestic and commercial doors, ARID designed and specified all components,
including instructions, packaging and corporate identity. The electronics were designed under our close
supervision. The Axeze keyless entry was awarded the Design Institute of Australia Award of Merit.

Comfort Breeze Eclipse and Summit  Evaporative air conditioners
The brief was for the design and specification of all mechanical and visual components for 2 ranges
of evaporative air conditioners. ARID produced the design and all tooling, as well as designing the
machinery and factory to build the products.

Mistral Airflow  Bathroom fan heater lights
The brief was for the design and specification of all mechanical and visual components for a domestic
bathroom exhaust fan. The design from concept to computer generated illustrations were finished in
Australia, and the product engineering, tooling testing and production were completed in China.

Tasmore Novo range  Washroom hinges and door furniture
This award winning range of patented door furniture is constructed from zinc die cast, plastic and
stainless steel. ARID was responsible for all aspects of design and development from concept to point of
sale including product engineering, assembly instructions and promotional brochures.

Carlton Commercial Interiors  Work station systems
This furniture range was installed throughout the Electricity Trust of South Australia head office.
The computer ready Linear range workstation included access to power and communication on
the desktop, enabling quick and efficient power and data connection before the introduction of wifi.

Brivis climate control   Air conditioning controller
Design and specification of all mechnaical and visual components for a control unit for heating and cooling domestic and commercial premises, with Australia-wide distribution and in the USA through Carrier Climate Systems.

Projects Inspired  Recycling station
Blow moulded recycling bin created for use in schools to help sort recycling materials and train primary school children in the needs for separating materials for recycling, the product has also found its way into many commercial business offices.

Newmont Gold Nugget case  Display and transport case
The brief was for the design and specification of all mechanical visual components and the supply of this special purpose high security display case for the Newmont 20kg gold nugget. The case was awarded the Design Institute of Australia Award of Merit.
